Fall Craft Show

Show Patron Information:

The show site is at Martin High School (4501 W. Pleasant Ridge; Arlington).  Click here to see map.  Saturday show times will be 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Sunday show times will be 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.  This is primarily an indoor show with a few outdoor vendors -- the show will be held rain or shine.  

Adult Admission:  $2.00
Children 12 and under are free
Food and Beverages & Sweet Shop Goodies available during the show hours.
 

Vendor Information:

This is primarily an indoor show with a few outdoor spaces available.   Our fall show averages 200 crafters and 3500 customers each year. 

Vendor set-up determined by booth location on Friday night (6:00 pm to 10:00 pm) and Saturday morning (6:00 am to 8:30 am).  Vendor tear-down cannot begin before 5:00 pm Sunday.  Earlier tear-down will forfeit your ability to rent a booth at future shows.

Booth rental varies depending on booth size. Cafeteria and gymnasium spaces (approximately 10x10)  for the two-day show will rent for $100.   Half booth spaces rent for $65.  There will be a $20 late fee for applications postmarked after August 1st 2008.

Although the majority of our show vendors sell hand-crafted items, we do allow some of our booth space to be rented by commercial vendors.  There will only be one dealer representing each commercial company.

Parent & Player Information:

Friday, October 18           Show Setup - everyone should meet in the cafeteria at 5:30pm.  We will be moving vendors in
                                       during 6:00pm - 10:00pm.

Saturday, October 19       Show Setup - everyone should meet in the cafeteria at 5:45am.  Remaining vendors will be
                                       moved in during 6:00am - 9:00am.  Doors open to customers at 9:00amAll Parents should
                                       sign up to work shifts during the show.   Players will be assigned shifts to work.

Sunday, October 20          All parents are needed to work shifts since players are not allowed to work on Sunday.  We will
                                        begin moving vendors out of the building and cleaning up at 5:00pm.  If we have enough help
                                        we should finish by 7:00pm

Advertising:                      Let's get the word out!  Please let Cindy Metcalf or Carla Schultz know if you have any great ideas on where we
                                        can pass out flyers.  Better yet....come by and pick up some flyers and start passing them out
                                        at businesses, churches, ballgames, etc..  We need to attract as many customers as possible for
                                        our vendors
