Coach Culbertson is in his fourth year at Martin High School, and this is
his second season as the Head Baseball Coach. He was born and raised in Arlington,
and graduated from
Arlington High School in 1978. He attended Paris Junior College one
year before transferring to UT Arlington where he graduated with a BA
degree. He has worked at Alvarado, Weatherford, and for the last 15
years within Arlington ISD. Coach Culbertson and his wife Carol have
three children, Kayla, Kristen, and Carly.
When asked what coaching baseball at Martin means to him, Coach Culbertson
replied...."It presents one of the greatest challenges in high school
athletics. Everyone knows who you are and they want a piece of you.
My job is to make sure our players are ready to play every game so they
can't have a piece of us."
