Game Summary
Jerid Watson started on the mound for the Mighty Warrior
Freshman against
the LD Bell Blue Raiders. The 1st inning saw the Blue Raiders jump ahead
of the Warriors by 3. In the 2nd the Warriors shut down the LD Bell offense
and answered with 7 runs of their own from a combination of walks and hits
by Keith Carney, Russell Bellomy, Nathan Gourley and Emilo Vialpando.
In the 3rd both teams scored 1 run each. The 4th was a strong defensive
showing for the Warriors with a 3 up/3 down inning. Offensively,
the Warriors were unable to capitalize on a single by Watson.
The top of the 5th saw the Blue Raiders chip away at the Warriors
lead by scoring 3 runs. Alex Bradley came in to pitch in the 5th
giving up no earned runs. The game ended with the Warriors on top.
