Game Summary
 The Warriors faced the Duncanville Panthers at their home field in their first district match up of the year. Keith Carney was on the mound for the Mighty Freshman and threw his 2nd no hitter of the year. The Warriors jumped ahead by 1 in the top of the 1st after Aaron Warren hit a single scoring Carney who had reached on an error. Bottom of the 1st started with a K for Carney and with 3 walks later the bases were loaded. Carney took care of his own base runners with 2 follow up strike outs to end the inning leaving 3 Panthers stranded. Top of the 2nd Travis Barkhurst started the inning by getting on base from an error by left field followed up by a walk from Alex Bradley. With 2 runners on Joseph Rodarte hit a single to score the 2 runners who had stolen their way around. Aaron Warren hit a single but was left stranded. Bottom of the 3rd had 1 Panther reaching on a walk but was left stranded. Top of the 3rd the Warriors had 23 batters step to the plate! The bats were hot with 8 hits, the top half of the inning with singles from Nate Gourley, Brady Harvey, Lance Mardock and Travis Barkhurst (2). Bradley had a single and a double with Carney also doubling. That combined with 8 walks, 18 runners crossed the plate. Bottom of 3 was non eventful offensively for the Panthers. 11 batters stepped into the box for the Freshman in the top of the 4th and they came out swinging. Only one batter walked this inning. There were singles from Connor Johnston, Brady Harvey and Alex Bradley. Warren ripped a triple and Russell Bellomy hit an in the park homerun! The Warriors scored 8 this half of the inning. Bottom of the 4th was 3 up/3 down for the Panthers with 3 K’s from Carney. Top of the 5th the Warriors were held to 1 run when Harvey hit a single scoring Gourley who had reached on an error. Bottom of the 5th the Panthers had 2 base runners from walks but were unable to score them.
