Game Summary
 The Warriors faced the Cedar Hill Longhorns at their home field and Keith Carney was on the mound for the Mighty Freshman. The Warriors were able to get a jump by 1 run in the 1st with Russell Bellomy stealing all the way around after being put on by a walk. The Warriors defensively had 3 up/3 down bottom half of the 1st. The top of the 2nd saw the bats come alive with 14 Warriors coming to the plate. Lance Mardock led off with a double. Alex Bradley, Emilio Vialpando, Bellomy, Aaron Warren and Brady Harvey all hit singles in the inning and combining that with 4 walks, the Freshman crossed the plate 9 times. Carney gave up 1 hit in the bottom of the 2nd but the runner did not score and all 3 outs were K’s. In the 3rd the Mighty Warriors offense was smokin’ with 12 batters stepping into the box. Carney led off with a single with Warren following up with a long double. Harvey also knocked a double. Travis Barkhurst and Bradley followed with singles. Carney ripped a triple in the same inning, and that along with 2 walks gained the Warriors another 8 runs. 2 K’s and a ground ball later in the bottom of the 3rd the Freshman Warriors wrapped up yet another victory.
