Game Summary
 Mike Hill was the starting pitcher for the Warriors and started strong with two strikeouts and one hit in the first inning. Daniel Garcia made a nice throw to Chase Jensen at second to get an out on an attempted stolen base. In the 2nd inning, Desoto led off with a base hit, but Hill shut them down with three straight strikeouts. The 3rd inning was even better with three up and three down – all strikeouts! The Eagles tried to rally in the 4th with back-to-back doubles scoring their first and only run. Hill struck out the next batter, the fourth batter grounded out and then Hill got the final batter on a strikeout to end the top of the inning. Kevin Winter came in to pitch the 5th inning and struck out two and the third flew out to Jordan Imhoff in right field. Hill got the win with a total of 10 strikeouts and one run on four hits.

The Warriors got on the board quickly with five runs in the 1st inning. Jake Mizell and Mike Chovanec each reached base on balls. Jantzen Witte hit a fielder’s choice with Chovanec being thrown out at second. Imhoff got on base on an error by the shortstop and Mizell scored. Chase Brown came up next with a base hit to left field scoring Witte. Daniel Garcia was then hit by a pitch. Brian Ragira was next to the plate and hit a single to left and scored Imhoff. Jay Hiller drew a walk, which scored Brown. Jensen hit a fielder’s choice to short with Hiller being thrown out at second and Shane Griffin scored as the pinch runner for Garcia. Mizell came up again and grounded out to short. In the 2nd, Chovanec led off with a single and stole second during Witte’s at bat. Witte reached base on balls and also stole second. Chovanec stole home and Witte scored on a wild pitch. Brown hit a single to left and stole second during Garcia’s at bat. Garcia walked and Griffin went in to run for him. Griffin stole second. Ragira hit another base hit to left field scoring Brown and Griffin. Hiller hit a single to short and Ragira scored on an error by the short stop. Mizell hit a single to right field. Chovanec came back up to bat again and reached base on an error by the pitcher, loading the bases. Witte drew a walk that walked in another run. Imhoff hit a fielder’s choice with Mizell being forced out at home. The 3rd inning Hunter Reinhardt was first up going in for Brown and was hit by a pitch. Garcia came to the plate next and hit a home run! Paul Gonzalez came in for Ragira and hit a triple. Hiller was up next and hit a double scoring Gonzalez. Trent Hunter went in for Mizell and hit a single to short. The 4th inning the Warriors were out 1-2-3. It was a high scoring game with a win of 14-1.
