Game Summary
The Junior Varsity Warriors used both great offense and defense to
defeat the Sam Houston Texans 22 – 1 at the Diamonds at Martin. Tanner Hapeman
started the game and held the Texans hitless through four innings with 5 strike
outs. Chase Jensen closed the game out in the fifth inning and struck out the
three batters he faced. The offense came through with practically every batter
getting at least one hit including a home run by Taylor Peddicord. Eric Jeske,
Trevor Slocum and Trent Hunter had perfect on base percentages for the game.
