Martin hitters racked up 10 hits and pushed 6 runs across the plate to defeat Cedar Hill 6 – 4 at the Diamonds at Martin. Dylan Rucker got the win and Stewart Person closed the game. Although the Longhorns were able to get 9 hits they were only able to score 4 runs and left numerous Longhorns stranded. Tanner Hapeman’s 2 triples, patience at the plate which translated into 3 walks and 2 hit batsmen as well as the other 8 Warrior hits were enough for the Warriors to defeat the Longhorns in their second district match-up of the season.
