Martin - vs
Bowie -
Game Summary
Chris Micheal went the distance for five innings of almost perfect baseball.
Other than an error after the first batter of the first inning hit the first
pitch that Micheal threw and a single was hit on the second pitch that Micheal
threw the Volunteers were held hitless and did not have any other base runners
for the rest of the game. The Volunteer that reached on the single was doubled
off when the third batter hit a fly ball to right field and right fielder, Trent
Hunter made a phenomenal catch and threw the runner out at first for an
unconventional double play. After the excitement of the first inning the Warrior
defense settled down and gave Michael strong back up and made every play that
came their way. Martin hitters combined for 14 hits and run ruled the Volunteers
13 – 0.
