Game Summary

Martin plays another good game against the local Coronado Mustangs.  The first inning results in all 9 batters coming to the plate.  Harrison Law leads off the game with a triple and scores on a hit by Jantzen Witte.  Will Keiser walks and scores after a single by Jordan Imhoff is followed by an error on the field.  Brian Nephew reaches on another error and is advanced on a walk by Mike Chovanec.  A passed ball scores 2 runners during Tyler Martin’s at bat which results in another base on balls.  The inning ends with the Warriors scoring 5 runs.  The second inning begins with Law again reaching base this time being hit by a pitch.  A single, fielder’s choice and then a 2 RBI hit from Nephew ends out the inning.  The Warrior scoring continues in the 3rd inning with T. Martin reaching base on balls, several fielding errors, 3 balks and a catcher’s interference call.  Five runs scored in the inning including another 2 RBI single by Nephew.  The 4th inning starts off with a single by Daniel Garcia who then scores on a triple by Chase Brown. A single by Law brings in Brown.  The Warrior 5th begins with another base on balls and an RBI double by Matthew Schimpf.  He scores on a double by Daniel Garcia who is followed by a double from Jacob Mizell.  What a roll!  Jordan Imhoff had a great pitching performance with 7 strike outs and only gave up two hits.  Dylan Rucker comes to the mound to close out the final inning and game with a 1-2-3 outing including 2 K’s.
