Game Summary
The JV Warriors played their first district game of the 2007 season against the
Sam Houston Texans at Sam Houston High School and walked away the victor. Dylan
Rucker went the distance and got the win with 10 strike outs in 5 innings. The
other outs included two hit back to Rucker on the mound which he fielded cleanly
and threw to first baseman, Stewart Person. Person had one hit to him for an
unassisted out and the last play of the game was a 4-6-3 double play involving
Tanner Hapeman at second, Chase Jensen at short stop and Person at first. The
Warrior hits included three singles by Jensen and two singles by Hapeman. Chris
Micheal got a double and Jay Hiller got a single and a double. Rucker hit a
single and he took a slow pitch yard for a final of 14 – 0 Warriors.
