Game Summary
The Mighty Martin Warriors defeated the Mansfield Fighting Tigers 11-4 in
Martin’s fourth game of the Tyde Classic. The Warriors had nine total hits with
three singles in the first by Keiser, Nephew and Witte and two singles in the
second by Law and Mizell. The third inning was a big scoring one with a two run
homer by Imhoff and a three run double by Law. A pitching change for Mansfield
in the fourth changed the momentum with no hits or runs, but in the fifth Witte
walked and ended up scoring on a pass ball. Brown hit a single scoring the pinch
runner for Tyler Martin who lucked up with an error by the first baseman. Jordan Imhoff, wearing #6 performed well on the mound allowing three hits with only one
earned run and four strike outs. Brian Nephew came in the game in relief in the
final inning with two strike outs and one hit.
