Martin - vs
Randall -
Game Summary
Martin faced the Randall Raiders from Amarillo in game four. Mike Hill started
on the mound and pitched well for the Warriors. Harrison Law continues his
streak of getting on base and reaches on an Error in the first inning. Jantzen
Witte follows with a walk and scores on a 2 RBI double by Brian Nephew. The top of the
4th inning our defense of Jantzen Witte, Will Keiser and Tyler Martin turned a great double play to
end a scoring threat by our Randall. The Warrior offense can’t seem to get
firing but in the bottom of the 4th things look promising as Michael Chovanec leads off
with a single. Unfortunately, good pitching by Randall, 3 base runners thrown
out and some defensive miscues by the Warriors, our run production is limited. Shane Griffin comes in to pitch and holds the Raiders. A final rally in the
bottom of the 7th with singles by Chase Brown and Witte prove too little too late as
the Warriors lose their second game of the tournament.
