Martin - vs
Montwood -
Game Summary
The final game for the Warriors at the 2007 First Bank Classic was against the
Montwood Rams from El Paso. The familiar scene of Harrison Law getting on base
to start the game continues as he reaches on a hit by pitch. Jantzen Witte
singles and then Jordan Imhoff scores two with a single. The top of the 2nd inning the
defense of Brian Nephew, Will Keiser and Tyler Martin shuts down a mild threat
with a nice double play. With two outs in the 3rd inning, designated hitter
Brian Ragira, hits a 2 RBI single up the middle. Kevin Winter gets a nice
strike-out in the 4th to end the inning. In the bottom of the inning Keiser hits
a line drive single to score Law and Witte who had reached on a walk and double
respectively. The scoring continues with Chase Brown who reached on an error and is
brought in by a double by Law. Witte then hits a nice single to score Law. Tyler
Osier is put it to run for Witte and advances to third with a series of pass
balls. He then scores the 10th and winning run at home after another pass ball
eludes the catcher. Martin finishes the Lubbock First Bank Classic tournament
with a 3-2 record.
