Game Summary
The JV Warriors brought their season record to 4 – 0 with a win over the LD Bell Blue Raiders. Josh Bragg and Jay Hiller combined for 6 innings of shut out baseball with help from the defense which had almost perfect fielding. The top of the first had the Warriors coming up empty although Travis Breslin was able to reach on a Bell error and Stewart Person had a single with a hard shot to the first baseman. In the second inning Breslin, Daniel Garcia and Tanner Hapeman all singled and the Warriors scored 2. The third inning saw Breslin hit a triple and Person hit a single and the team once again scored 2 runs which brought the score to 4 – 0 Warriors at the end of the third inning. During the remaining innings Dylan Rucker was able to come up with a single but the Warriors didn’t need any more runs to defeat the Blue Raiders 4 – 0.
