Martin   - vs Plano East -

Game Summary
Game 4 of the Lewisville tournament was played in Lewisville during a strange windy dust storm with wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour! It was quite a challenge for the players. The match up against the Plano East Panthers was lively with a lot of fan involvement cheering on their respective teams. Both teams had controversial calls against them when catchers were attempting to throw out runners at second base and the plate umpire called batter interference. The Warriors had many big hits with doubles by Will Keiser and Tyler Martin in the second along with a single by Jordan Imhoff. In the fourth Keiser hit a two run homer and in the fifth Jantzen Witte & Chase Brown hit singles and Zach Laster hit a two run homer. Imhoff was the starting pitcher allowing two hits, two runs, and a few walks. He was relieved by Zac Zielinski at the end of the third inning. Zielinski pitched well with only one run scoring in the fourth when the Panthers scored their third run on a home run to left center. Matt Schimpf cme to the mound at the end of the sixth inning. The Panthers got their bats going in the seventh scoring five runs on four hits. Brian Nephew relieved Schimpf in the seventh holding the Panthers from scoring again. Martin pulled out the win to move onto the Championship game.
