The JV Warriors continued their domination in district play as they moved the perfect district record to 10 - 0 by defeating the Colts 13 -3 on Thursaday night.   The Warrior offense struck early with Chase Brown leading the game off with a double to left -center. After moving to third on a pass ball, Brown was brought home by a Mike Chovanec, RBI single to left-center. Chovanec stole second but was held there briefly while Witte flew out to short left. Michael Lindsey promptly singled home Chovenec after he moved to third on another Colt miscue. Hayden Steele drove a ball to deep center to move Lindsey to second  and in scoring position setting up the Big Fly by Jacob Mizell over the right field fence to score both he and Lindsey. This was Mizell's first round tripper of the year. Starting pitcher, Shane Griffin was touched for a run in the bottom of the first but threw a great second inng striking out the side. Shane gave way to Josh Chambers in the third. Josh threw a scoreless third and was touched for 2 unearned runs in the fourth. The Warrior offense added two more runs in the second, but exploded in the top of the fifth with 7 runs to add to the 6 - 3 lead. Mike Hill led of the inning with a single, moved to third on consecutive pass balls. Mizell, already with a big hit that night, added to his RBI total with a double to right-center scoring Hill. Dylan Thompsom reached base on a dropped third strike, moved to second on a passed ball. Christian Hibbs walked, then both he and Thompson moved up a base on a double steal. Matt Schimpf came to the plate and slapped a triple to the gap in right center scoring Hibbs and Thompson. Brown got on by an error which scored Schimpf. Brown was knocked in by a Chovanec double and Chovanec scored on a Jansen Witte sigle to end the 7 run barrage. Mike Hill came to the mound to close out the game.
