Game Summary

During the second pool game of the Lamar Tournament the Freshmen Warriors faced the Summit Jaguars.  Stewart Person had a strong showing on the mound.  He pitched a complete game and in those 7 innings he faced 27 Jaguars, struck out 9 and only walked 1.  He gave up 2 hits, both singles.  Person had both strong offensive and defensive support.  The Warrior bats were hot with 11 hits including a double by both Travis Breslin and Trevor Slocum.  Kyle Blackwell and Chris Michael had 2 singles each and Daniel Garcia had 2 singles and a double.  On to bracket play!
