Game Summary

Martin JV played another great game today with a win over Aledo.  Junior, Michael Lindsey produced the first homerun of the season with a nicely hit ball over the right-field fence during the first inning and then in the 2nd inning, Junior, Matt Schimpf hit another homerun for the team, catching the right side of the left field foul pole rattling the Aledo pitcher who allowed 3 additional hits for the inning.  Shane Griffin was the starting pitcher allowing only 3 hits and striking out 7 in the 5 innings that he pitched.  Josh Chambers came in relief for the final inning allowing only 1 hit.  The 2 runs for the inning were unearned due to errors in the field
