Game Summary

All the runs Martin starting Pitcher Josh Marshall would need were provided by the first 3 batters for the Warriors.  Shaun Garcia walked to start the game and was moved to 2nd when the next batter, Eric Hanlon, also walked.  Then Nathan Karns blasted a 2-1 pitch over the right-center field fence for a 3 run home run!!!  The powerful Warrior offense did not stop there, pounding out 14 hits and 12 runs over the 7 innings.  Shaun Garcia ended up with 3 hits, 2 of them doubles.  Both of Chase Edwards’ hits were also doubles.  Eric Hanlon also had 2 hits, one of them a double.  Trent Blanchard went 3 for 4, all three singles, and 2 RBI’s.  Josh Marshall gave up only 3 hits and one run in his 4th complete game of the season.
