Game Summary

The Freshmen Warriors won their second non-district tournament championship with a 3-1 victory over cross-town rival Arlington High in the Bowie Tournament.  Arlington went on top in the fifth inning, breaking up a scoreless game to go ahead 1-0.  Martin came back with two runs in the bottom half of the fifth, then added an insurance run in the sixth.  That was all the lead Martin pitchers Kevin Winter and Michael Chovanec needed as they kept the Colts off of the scoreboard in the final two innings.  Christian Hibbs had a triple, and Jantzen Witte had a double for the Warriors.
