Game Summary

Another strong start by the Warrior bats was matched by a good hitting Lubbock-Estacado team.  A see-saw battle appeared to be won by the good guys as time seemed to expire at the end of the 5^th inning, with Martin ahead by 2 runs.  Then the home plate umpire signaled to the Home Field coach that the next inning would be the last, because time had just expired.  The Matadors scored 4 in the top of the inning, and the Warrior bats fell silent in the bottom.  Logan Batlle had two hits – a Triple and a Home Run – both firsts for him.  Richard Pumphrey had two singles, and Chase Edwards added a Double.
