Game Summary
Behind a dominating pitching performance by Brian Nephew, the Warriors shutout the Cedar Hill Longhorns 5-0 as the second round of district play began. Nephew gave up only 1 hit (an infield single), and allowed only one runner to reach 2nd base. The Warriors got the only run they needed in the bottom of the third, when Ryan Nielsen singled and eventually came around to score on a passed ball. Martin added some insurance in the sixth, putting four more runs on the board, with the key hit being Harrison Law's two run double to center. Blake Sanders led the Warriors with two hits.
