Game Summary

In a game that sometimes appeared to be a dodgeball contest (6 Martin batters were hit by pitches in four innings), Martin cruised to a lop-sided 22-0 win over the Sam Houston Texans in District 7-5A competition.  The Warrior run outburst was highlighted by Blake Sanders' 2-run shot over the left field fence in the second inning.  Brian Nephew added three hits for Martin.  Shawn Peoples went the distance on the mound, giving up only two hits (both in the fourth inning).
