Game Summary

The Martin Warriors put the finishing touches on their District 7-5A championship season with a 15-0 romp over the Sam Houston Texans at Warrior Field.  The Warriors sent 12 men to the plate in the first inning scoring 6 runs with Colin Schickedanz' 3-run double being the big blow.  In the second inning, the Warriors sent 11 men to the plate scoring another seven runs on Schickedanz' second 3-run double sandwiched between 2-run doubles by Michael Lindsay and Kyle Swearingen.  The Warriors continued to roll in the third inning when Will "Jaws" Keiser took a 3-2 pitch over the wall in left center for a solo home run.  Getting his first starting nod of the season, Tobi Bailey held the Texans in check, giving up only one hit and recording three strikeouts over the three inning contest.
