Game Summary
The Martin Warrior Freshman team did it again – shutting out the Bowie Volunteers and remaining undefeated for the season! Shane Griffin started on the mound for the Martin Warriors pitching 4 complete innings with only 1 hit and 1 run allowed. He struck out 3 batters and walked one. Josh Chambers pitched 2 complete innings allowing no hits and 2 strike outs with one batter scoring on an error. Cameron Shuping pitched the final inning allowing 2 hits, 2 strike outs, 3 walks and 3 runs. The Warriors bats were in excellent form. Logan Melton hit a two run homer in the 4th inning. With 17 hits in the game, many players contributed to the Warrior offense.
