Game Summary
The Freshman Warriors traveled to the Lamar Vikings Stadium for a Saturday afternoon game. The first two innings were close, but the Warrior offense poured it on in the 3rd inning and capitolized on Viking errors. Then in the 5th inning the Warriors put the game out of reach scoring 7 on 5 hits and a couple of walks. Kevin Winter pitched for Martin allowing 6 hits, 1 run, 2 walks and 4 strike outs. Logan Melton came in to pitch during the final inning pitching to one batter before the game ended.
