Game Summary

Behind the strong pitching of Adam Glenn and Tobi Bailey, and another night when every Martin starter had at least one base hit, the Martin Warriors coasted to an easy 11-1 victory over the Desoto Eagles moving one step closer to a district title.  The Warriors jumped to an early 3-0 lead in the first inning with 5 hits, put two more on the board in the second with another 4 hits, then exploded for five runs in the third for a 10-0 cushion.  Desoto avoided a run-rule shutout by pushing across a single run in the fourth, but the Warriors closed them out with a run in the bottom of the fifth.  Blake Sanders led the Warriors with 3 hits.
